Love it!

The only feature I wish I could have added which was not available is a lighted keyboard. That would have been a great and not too pricey feature to add. It also supports a second hard drive. A great option when customizing. I did not get this, only because I wanted the 7200rpm hard drive and again, for some reason that is not an option on the site, but can certainly be added later. This computer is incredibly fast with the 2450 processor, 8gb of memory, and the 750gb 7200rpm hard drive. Plenty of storage for my usage and plenty of speed. It will be good for my use for years to come I am sure.I highly recommend this as it is a good low priced computer to add exactly what you want without going way over budget and still have a great working computer. The only thing I don't like, and would suggest to everyone else is the basic finish that they offer is really bad for fingerprints. I actually read another review about that before I purchased but it's not a huge deal to me, so I went with it anyway. If you plan on carrying it around often or are bothered by fingerprints, I suggest you get the better finish for the $25I would also like to add that I received it VERY quickly from HP! I know the dates are all estimated and are there to compensate for busy times, but it actually shipped before the estimated build date! That can't be true for everyone, but I wanted to say that it happened with me. I was so glad to receive it a day after it was supposed to be built!

I've had 2 Hp/Compaq laptops in the past and they were/are solid working machines. The HP quality is what I love!

Worst I ever owned

On the Windows 7 System ratings scale it rates at 5.6 Mostly due to the lack of a independent Graphics card (the Graphics performance for Aero theme on Windows & score 5.6 and hence the lower score). But even with that low score, I have been seeing very good graphics performance. (I have not stressed the system much at all). the 17" screen is ginormous. I did not realize it, But, for a Laptop that screen size is big and I am quite thrilled about it.I have only watched Hulu on it since I have gotten it and I am connected wirelessly to my Home Media server as well. The Wireless performance is great. I do occasionally see stuttering when I try and watch TV Shows via the built in Mediacenter. But, That I guess is a bottleneck of my wireless router (could be improved via the settings on the router).

All in all, Its a decent laptop, However I would have liked to see a faster processor for the price. (an i5 instead of an i3)
The screen resolution is not great it is 1600x900 (I think). I had a smaller laptop and it had a higher resolution and it was an older laptop as well and all that with only a 256MB graphics card.
